The latest edition to the gallery wall in our living room. B picked this one out a little while back, and we just recently got it framed. Trying to fight the negativity and darkness back any way we can, you know?

B gave me my first at-home haircut during the pandemic! I wanted to keep it “longish” on top (I was already starting to grow it out until further notice), and she wanted to get rid of the very mullet-adjacent part of the back. I was a little nervous by just how excited she was to cut it, but I think turned out really well!

We enjoyed a socially distanced, cloudy day picnic with one of B’s friends/co-workers today out on the Mall. We haven’t really been out to do much yet, so getting to see someone out in the wild was wonderful and weird all at once. Kind of like my hair, which I felt deserved to get documented.

Also – picnics are so easy when you can just pick up tacos and pitchers of margaritas to go!

I grew up with a big dining room table (hello, youngest of eight kids!) and always dreamed of having one of my own some day. That day is today as we move forward with another step in sprucing up the house.

We’re getting some help with design in our house, and the first chapter happened today. This is way too nice to be my living room.
